Now add some essential lemon oil to the mix and pour in some water and – voilà – here you have a great all-purpose cleaner. Clean greasy graters by rubbing half a lemon onto them.

It’s easy to prepare polish at home. And again you’ll need some lemon. Squeeze some lemon juice or use the one you purchased at the store. Afterwards, mix in some olive oil. That’s it – your homemade polish is ready! The best proportion is 1:2. Use the polish to refresh furniture and leather. Another recipe is to mix lemon juice with vinegar (1:1). This kind of polish is great to clean metals like copper and brass. That’s not all you can use lemon for. We recommend you should mix lemon juice with baking soda in equal proportions or according to the consistency you want your paste to be. The mixture can be used to remove tarnish from copper. You can use it on brass as well! If you have silver items, try out a different recipe. Take half a cup of dry milk powder and mix it with 1.5 cups of water. Carefully mix in one tablespoon of the juice, too. Leave your silver in the mixture for a few hours or overnight. Thoroughly rinse and dry the items. If silver is badly tarnished, apply some lemon juice directly onto the silverware first and then polish it with a clean soft cloth.

Stains hate lemon! Use lemon to remove stains from various surfaces. You can successfully get rid even of old stains if you add some other ingredients to lemon. For instance, your toilet bowl will be sparkling if you treat stains by applying half a cup of borax mixed with half a cup of lemon juice on them. Leave the mixture on for some time. Then scrub the stains. If you have rust stains on marble, you can get them off with lemon, too. In this case use baking soda instead of borax since the former is not as harsh. Greasy laundry can be saved – mix lemon juice with vinegar and use the combination to remove the grease. A pate of salt and lemon juice can help you get rid of mildew. Food stains on the skin as well as stains on your pets’ fur will vanish if rub lemon juice on them.
5. Goof For Hair
If you suffer from dandruff, we suggest you should try lemon juice. It is very good for hair. Rub a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice into your scalp first. Leave it in your hair for a minute or two and then rinse with warm water. The issue is not yet resolved? Then, if necessary, repeat the procedure the next time you wash your hair.
